MUS (Medical Union for Service), founded in 1990 on the grounds of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila—College of Medicine, is a non-profit, student-governed organization committed to representing leadership, scholarship and service in the medical field which were its underpinnings. Since then, MUS has grown to be one of the finest organizations in the College of Medicine of PLM. Her members, MUS (active members), UPSILONS (clerks and interns), and SIGMAS (alumni), have remained dedicated in preserving the ideals and visions conceived by her founders. MUS are united, not only by the bond of sisterhood, but also by the same desire to achieve excellence rooted in humility and hardwork and promote service entrenched in passion and commitment. Each is provided with a window of chance to play a significant role in realizing the goals of the organization, and uphold its principles in ways as diverse as their souls, but with the same fervor and finesse that each MUS is expected to possess. And so, every sister is proud to fashion the principles that the sorority stands for and with the simplest of resources provide the most marking difference.
